So, Ihr Lieben, heute ist es soweit, das erste Türchen geht auf.

Mein Adventskalender ist dieses Jahr etwas gegliedert. Heute ist Basteln mit Kindern angesagt:

Wir basteln ein superleichtes und effektvolles Geschenk oder eine Weihnachtsdeko.

Einen Christstern.

Wir brauchen roten und grünen Filz, Schere, Bleistift, Goldperlen, Stickgarn, Kerze, Sticknadel, Untersetzer für die Kerze und eine Vorlage, in dem Falle ein Ausstecherchen.

Today is the big day, we are opening the first door at the advent calendar on my blog.

This year my calendar is a bit different as last year.

Saturday is the day for making crafts with kids. Today we are making an easy and beautiful present of decoration:

a pointessettia

you need: red and green felt, pencil, scissor, golden pearls, stitching floss, stitching needle, candle, and a candle holder. And you need a pattern, in my case I used a cookie cutter with the perfect form.

Male auf den Filz die Form des Ausstechers ab, ich habe sie erst mal 7 x pro Farbe gemacht, und dann geschaut, ob ich noch welche brauchte, insgesammt brauchte ich pro Farbe 12.

So, nun kommen die Perlen, das Stickgarn und die Nadel ins Spiel.

Now is the time for the pearls, the floss and the needle.

Als nächstes wird das Stickgarn 3 mal um die Kerze gewickelt, damit man auch garantiert die richtige Länge hat.

Lay the floss 3 times around the candle to find the right lenght of the floss.

Nun wird die erste Perle aufgefädelt, und dann noch einmal mit der Nadel durch die Perle gegangen, um sie zu sichern.

Make the first pearl on the floss, and secure it with going a second time through the pearl.

Faltet die Blätter am Ende und fädelt sie auch auf das Garn.

Fold the leafs at the end and stitch trough it and tear it over the floss.

Immer schön abwechselnd, grün , Perle, dann rot, Perle und so weiter.

Do this in this order: green, pearl, red, pearl and so on.

Kontrolliert immer mal wieder, ob es schon genug Länge hat.

Check the lenght, if it is enough.

Nun sind es genug, der Kreis ist geschlossen.

Now there are enough pearls and leafs.

Um es zum Kreis zu schließen, öffne die Sicherung vom Anfang, indem der Faden wieder geöffnet wird.

To finish it, you have to open the security loop we had made at the beginning.

Nun nehmt es in die Hand und knotet es zu, damit es richtig zu ist, 2 x. Danach schneidet Ihr das Band ab.

Take both ends in your hand and make a fouble knot right beside the pearl, then cut the floss short.

Fertig, legt es auf den Untersetzer, und stellt die Kerze in den Ring.

Finished, set it on the candle holder, and put the candle in the ring.

Es sieht schöner aus, wenn die roten Blätter oben sind.

It looks so more festive, when the red leaves are on the top.
