Heute gibt es die Matratze zum Puppenbett.

Today we make the matress to the doll bed.

Gebraucht habe ich eine Schaumstoffmatte 50 x 60 cm
Brotmesser, Stift, Lineal, Stoff Stecknadeln und Nadel und Faden.

I needed foam material pad from the size 20 x 24 inch,
a breadknife, ruler, pen, fabric, pins, needle and floss

Ich habe die Größe des Bettes gemessen ( Innenseite) und dann 1 cm abgezogen . Dann habe ich die Maße auf den Schaumstoff übertragen.

Messure the size of the bed( inside), minus 0,5 inch and mark the size of the matress on the foam.

Jetzt kommt das Brotmesser.

Now you need the breadknife.

Ich habe mit dem Messer gesägt, und somit relativ grade Schnitte hinbekommen.

I have used the knife as a saw and so I had relatively straight cuts.

Danach habe ich die schmale Seite einmal ringsrum gemessen, plus Nahtzugabe. Da ich einen 1/4 inch Fuß habe, habe ich mich leichter getan, die größe in inch + 0,5 inch zu rechnen.

Now measure again, the small side just around the foam + 0,5 inch seam allowance.

Die lange Seite habe ich auch gemessen, und zwar mit der Höhe der Matratze zusammen. Seite + 2 x Höhe.

Now measure the long side, and add 2 x the height if the matress.

Jetzt habe ich den Stoff auf das Maß zugeschnitten.

Cut the fabric to the right size

Als nächstes habe ich ihn gefaltet, rechts auf rechts, danach habe ich ihn der Länge nach abgesteppt.

The next stepp is to fold the fabrick right side together and then I have to sew it at the long side.

Umdrehen!

Turn it.

Nun habe ich die Matratze bezogen, die beiden Seiten sind noch offen.

Now I teared it over the matress, both sides are still open.

Ich habe den Stoff an den Enden zusammengelegt, wie ein Geschenk und es mit Nadeln festgesteckt.

At the ends I folded the fabric, as if I have to wrapp a present, then I pinned it with pins.

Zuletzt habe ich beide Nähte mit der Hand geschlossen.

I closed the last both seams by hand.

So schaut das Bettchen jetzt aus, es fehlen noch Kissen und Deckchen.
